ELKAMAK vertical crushers are tertiary crushers used to crush, cube and produce sand for hard and abrasive materials between 0 and 40 mm.
They are produced in two types as closed and open rotor. Stones with a maximum size of 0-40 mm can be fed to closed rotor crushers. Since the returned material may contain particles larger than these sizes, they are definitely not suitable for crushing returned material.
Vertical crushers break the material fed to the rotor by throwing it at a speed of approximately 67-80 m/s and by hitting the naturally occurring stone box with the stator, stone lining and the material entering the system from the outside of the rotor (stone to stone crushing).
Vertical crushers are used to pulverize materials with a hardness of less than 9 degrees and a moisture content of less than 9%. The materials must be non-flammable and non-explosive minerals.
