Spent some time on the Cat 950. It managed various tasks easily, showing its versatility. The dashboard touch display helped monitor ongoing operations smoothly. However, sound suppression in the cab could be better. The updated lock-up clutch transmission contributed to noticeable fuel savings.

The Caterpillar 950F is a robust machine with plenty of power. The transmission shifts seamlessly and braking-responsiveness impressed me. Tires showed good wear consistency-an important aspect. My only minor gripe is the unclear functionality of some cabin electronics.

I've run a lot of machines over the years, and jumped in the seat of the 950F not too long ago. The loader's got a ton of hours on it - 25,000+, which actually made me hesitant, but honestly it still runs smoother than a lot of newer stuff I've tried. Engine's got decent pull and the trans shifts nice, no delays. No leaks anywhere, that's something I always look for. Hydraulics are pretty snappy too. Minor gripe: AC technically works but doesn't get cold, which is annoying in the summer out here. That bucket is a good size, makes cleanup a lot faster. Tires have plenty of life left. Just would be nice if the AC wasn't iffy, but overall for an older loader, it's holding up better than I expected.

Used a Cat 950G for a majority of a project, and it truly shows its capability. The hydraulic system delivers solid power for most operations. Although, the slightly aged components hinted at a necessity for routine checks to ensure optimal performance. The A/C system is effective, which came in handy during warmer days.

So I jumped into a 950 a couple months ago. Lot of the work is on mud and gravel, also some rock moving here and there. What I noticed right away is how the transmission and those axles help it dig in and push without losing much traction. Five-speed powershift is real smooth compared to the older ones I used. Still, not a fan of all the fancy tech. I like dials, not touchscreens ha. Never got stuck, haven’t had a breakdown yet. Fuel use is lower than what I remember with the previous models. Cab is better than before, though the climate control died once and I had to fix it myself. Nothing too major. Price is always steep with Cat, but that’s the game.

Had a chance to use the Cat 950 loader on various terrains. The fuel efficiency improvement was noticeable, saving operational costs. However, transitioning between gears could feel abrupt on steeper inclines.

I've had experience with loaders like this Caterpillar 950F. Using it, I noticed it operates smoothly despite its significant hours. However, the AC system isn't functioning optimally, which can be a concern in warmer climates. The maintenance history seems thorough, which reassures reliability.

Used the Cat 950 recently. It’s got a solid 42,461 lb operating weight, definitely noticeable during operation. I appreciated the joystick steering; it felt natural and reduced downtime between loads. While the advanced monitoring features are great, there’s a bit of a learning curve for some systems. Fuel efficiency was on point compared to similar models I’ve used.

Tried the 950 model for a week. Versatility stood out, especially with multiple attachments functionality. While generally reliable, minor adjustments to control sensitivity would enhance maneuvering.

I've had some hands-on experience with the Caterpillar 950G recently. The overall reliability and build quality is what you'd expect from Caterpillar. The engine does its job, but the air conditioner isn't as efficient as it could be - gets cool but not quite cold. Hydraulics are solid and responsive, which I appreciate. What stood out was the machine's impressive stability even under heavy loads. A few imperfections, like the tire wear being a mixed bag, but nothing too concerning.
